Alicia K. Bello is a holistic herbalist, astrologer, educator, creative, and mother of a teenager. Her herbal path began over eight years ago through monthly community classes at The Green Education Center, where she studied with a diverse group of herbalists and ethnobotanists, including bioregional, community, and master herbalists, as well as fermentors. What began as a local exploration evolved into a devoted personal practice, enriched by years of study, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

Alongside her herbal work, Alicia has spent over two decades immersed in mysticism and symbolic systems. Collectively this has included systems such as yoga, dreamwork, tarot, and astrology. She has offered consultations for many years and continues to provide advanced astrological consultations. Her training also includes ancient folk healing traditions from rural southern Italy, which inform her approach in subtle and nuanced ways.

For Alicia, herbalism, like all holistic practices, is a lifelong unfolding. The learning continues in every encounter, each person and plant offering new insight into the living intelligence of nature. She continues to expand her knowledge and experience through one-on-one classes, herbal conferences, clinical intensives, and independent study, drawing from a wide range of traditions and teachers. Her work has been influenced by the teachings of Guido Masé, Matthew Wood, Demetria Clark, Erika Galentin, and many others whose approaches continue to shape contemporary herbalism.

Today, Alicia’s practice is grounded in the principles of Vitalism and Traditional Western Herbalism. She continues to refine her skills through advanced study, clinical mentorship, and direct client work. While she does not dispense herbal preparations, she guides individuals through thoughtful, personalized holistic protocols that nurture vitality and resilience over time.
Anchored in lineage and lived experience, and inspired by the legacy of herbalists such as Juliette de Bairacli Levy, Alicia’s work is built on relationship with the plants, with the body, and with each person’s unfolding process.
